All Natural, Homemade Chocolate

This recipe is so easy to make it’s insane.  There are literally only three ingredients, and it creates something that is extremely difficult to find.  A chocolate bar with all recognizable ingredients.  Seriously, I challenge you to go to the store and try to find a chocolate bar that has all ingredients you can find at home.  Better yet, try doing this without venturing into the organic section.

All you are going to need for this is

1. 4 tbsp melted coconut oil (unrefined)

2. 1/2 cup plus 1 tbsp cocoa powder

3. vanilla flavored stevia drops (You could use honey or maple syrup, just take out the extra tbsp of cocoa powder and substitute it).

If you want, you can get really creative and add any other type of add in to make it your own personal candy bar.

Start by melting your coconut oil.  I just threw it in the microwave for 30 seconds, stirred and put it in for another 30 seconds.  The better way to do this is to place the jar in a saucepan filled with boiling water and let it melt that way.  I just didn’t feel like waiting for water to boil 🙂

Add in your other ingredients, and spread out onto a pan lined with wax paper. (I used an 8 x 8 inch pan)

Allow to harden in the freezer for a few hours.

Once it’s cooled and hardened, cut however you desire.

I decided to cut mine into chocolate chips.

Pretty amazing right?

Question: What’s your favorite candy bar?

Reeses all the way!  Almond joys, pretzel mnms, and peanut butter mnms come in close though.
