Pretty much everyone out there has their own updated version of how to make a green monster. For me, it’s blended to a super thick creamy texture with the added benefit of chia seeds 🙂 (shocked?)
This recipe is extremely simple, and can be made literally within seconds.
All you are going to need is
1. 1 frozen banana
2. handful of frozen spinach
3. 2/3 cup almond milk (plus more to achieve desired thickness)
4. 1 tbsp chia seeds
I soaked the chia seeds in the almond milk overnight just so a bit of chia gel could be formed. This step is optional though.
Now all you have to do is blend!
I PROMISE you that you can’t taste the spinach in this. It’s honestly one of the most delicious and easy ways to get in your vegetables for the day.
