Sounds pretty amazing doesn’t it? Guess what… it is :). It is relatively healthy as well. I mean it’s not something you should be eating 4 or 5 times a day, but it is definitely healthier than your traditional peanut butter cup… and much much more satisfying.
Plus, all the ingredients we are using are good for you. The peanut butter and the chocolate are all natural. The bread is 100% whole grain, so yes, it is all good for you 🙂
1. 1 tbsp white chocolate peanut butter (by peanut butter and co)
2. 1 tbsp all natural unsalted peanut butter
3. 100 calorie whole wheat sandwich thins
You could use any peanut butter you want. Get creative. Maybe even opt for a different nut butter if you don’t like peanut butter. Let me know what you try… and yes you have to try this 🙂 (okay not really but it’s really quite to die for)
Start simply by peanut-buttering up BOTH slices of bread. I know a lot of people would only put it on one half, but if you really want this to taste like a peanut butter cup, you need to have enough peanut butter so the bread doesn’t overtake it. It also keeps the peanut butter-chocolate-peanut butter theme of reeses consistent.
Top with your chocolate chips
Then sandwich the two sides together and cook on a heated pan. The pan should be on medium- medium high heat. You want this to cook for awhile before it burns so that the inside can get all melty and gooey.
