Homemade Larabars: Peanut Butter and Jelly Flavored

If you read my post on how to make peanut butter cookie larabars, then you’re already 90% done with making peanut butter and jelly flavored ones!

All you are going to need is
1. 1 cup peanuts

2. 1 cup pitted dates (soaked for a few hours until soft if you don’t have a high quality blender)

3. 1 cup dried cherries (mine ended up having a few dried cranberries in it too just because I mix them together into the same mason jar… I don’t know why I do that)

Put all the ingredients into a blender, and blend until a paste forms.  You should be able to mold it into any shape you want.

You can either form it into bars

(you’ll get about 6)

or into little energy bites like I ended up doing

(you’ll get around 18 total)

You can even get really creative, and wrap them with aluminum foil, and store in the fridge so it’s like taking out little pieces of candy! 🙂

These seriously taste like peanut butter and jelly.  It’s kind of crazy, and putting them in bites forms for me is just enough to satisfy my peanut butter and jelly cravings 🙂
