Pumpkin Peanut Butter Protein Wrap

So there are obvious many different varieties of wraps out there.  Veggie wraps, turkey wraps, tacos, etc.  There is also another category of wraps that not as many people explore… but really should.

Sweet wraps.

Okay so this one isn’t 100% sweet, but it’s a lot sweeter than normal ones… plus it has SWEET potatoes soo 🙂

This ones really good for you too.  Sweet potatoes, pumpkin, and peanut butter all have a ton of nutritional benefits… they also happen to taste amazing together.

You are going to need

1. 1/2 a cooked and cooled sweet potato

2. 2 tbsp pumpkin puree

3. 1 tbsp peanut butter and co mighty maple peanut butter

4. 1 tbsp regular peanut butter

5. a handful of pecans

6. 2 tbsp pb2

7. cinnamon and nutmeg to taste

8. 1 whole grain wrap

Mash the pumpkin, pb2 and peanut butter together, and then combine it with the rest of the ingredients.

Spread them all onto the wrap, and roll it

Fun fact, I used to work at Moe’s Southwest Grill, so I’m pretty pro at rolling burritos 🙂

Heat it on a skillet on medium high heat until it’s browned (turn every 30 seconds or so)

and enjoy!

(drizzle with maple syrup if you so desire 🙂 )
