Pumpkin Bread Recipe

Unfortunately, today feels absolutely NOTHING like fall.  It is super hot outside and muggy.

That’s why I decided to post this recipe for you guys.  To lift up some fall spirits! 🙂

This really is my favorite pumpkin recipe.  I found it on allrecipes, and it never EVER fails to impress.

It’s the very first recipe I’m posting from my recipe book!

If you can’t read it here’s what it says

1. 1 15 ounce can pumpkin puree (I used 1 3/4 cups of homemade)

2. 4 eggs

3. 1 cup vegetable oil

4. 2/3 cup water

5. 3 cups white sugar

6. 3 1/2 cups flour

7. 2 tsp baking soda

8. 1 1/2 tsp salt

9. 1 tsp cinnamon

10. 1 tsp ground nutmeg

11. 1/2 tsp cloves

12. 1/4 tsp ginger

Preheat your oven to 350F

Mix pumpkin, egg,s oil, water and sugar.  In a separate bowl whisk flour, baking soda, salt, cinnamon, nutmeg, cloves, and ginger.

Stir dry ingredients into pumpkin mixture until just blended

Pour into pans (I used 3 7×3 inch greased pans) and bake for 24 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean
